  What's New in InkGestures

What's new in InkGestures Version 1.3:

* Added a tab gesture (down and to the right).
* Added a space gesture (up and to the right).
* Added gesture to move the current position one character to the left: draw a horizontal line from right to left and then back to the starting point without lifting the pen.
* Added a gesture to move the current position one character to the right: draw a horizontal line from left to right and then back to the starting point without lifting the pen.
* Quotes and apostrophes are inserted curved by default now.
* Added checkbox in InkGestures Options Window to select whether quotes and apostrophes are inserted curved or straight.
* When Show Feedback option is enabled, only show a tap gesture if a selection exists and the user taps outside of the selection.
* Fixed: Insert a space sets current position one character too far to the right.
* Added support for appending text. When appending text, use the insert gesture and prefix the text to append with a dash. This is particularly useful when appending an apostrophe or quote symbol.
* When right clicking with pen, recognition is now disabled so that you can move the current selection more easily.
* Improved recognition of "em" for an em dash.
* Fixed: With the Tablet PC SDK 1.7 it is possible for an error to occur during recognition.
* Modified Help window to display last gesture used, even if the window was not previously displayed.
* Fixed: Help window was incorrectly stating that gestures were disabled if an insert gesture was drawn without any text.

What's new in InkGestures Version 1.2:

* Modified use of Normal.dot to avoid the display of a Save dialog appearing on exit under certain circumstances.
* Improved gesture recognition bug when non-US English is selected.
* Improved error logging when InkGestures is unable to run.

What's new in InkGestures Version 1.1:

* Inserted text is positioned better, particularly when inserting text before the beginning of a row or appending to the document.
* Right clicking with the mouse or pen (including press and hold) will display the context menu.
* Gestures are no longer processed when the right mouse button or pen button is pressed.
* Added optional feedback icons that show which gesture was recognized.
* Backspace gesture can now be disabled from the Options Window
* Some dialogs did not appear over the document when displayed. This has been fixed.
* Fixed: If tapping outside of a word, a period was incorrectly being added.
* When a window is split, gesturing will be disabled. To resume gesturing, you must tap on the desired window to edit and then tap on the Start Gesturing button to re-enable gestures.

* Fixed crash: Inserting a chart (or other embedded object that provides in-place editing), will now disable gestures.

* Install program modified to remove all files upon uninstall, except for user-created log files.

* Writing the phrase "em" above a selection gesture will insert an em dash.
